 FAQs

What's in the box?

One SnugPup hoodie in the color and size you pick. That's it — the pouch is built right into the front.

Will this actually calm my dog down?

Body contact is what settles an anxious dog. He's on your chest hearing your heartbeat instead of on the floor watching you walk away.

How do I get him in there?

Unzip the front window, slide him in rear-first, then zip it up to the height he's comfortable at. The kangaroo pocket underneath carries his weight, so your back doesn't.

How big a dog fits? Does it work for cats?

Small breeds up to 44 lb (20 kg). Cats work too — most of them figure it out faster than the dogs do.

Your dog follows you into the bathroom, doesn't he?

The second you stand up, he's up. You put him down, he cries. So you end up carrying him around the house with one arm and trying to live your life with the other. You're not imagining it, and he's not being dramatic — he just can't stand being away from you.

He stays on your chest. You get both hands back.

SnugPup has a zip-up front pouch that holds him right against you, where he can hear your heartbeat. Unzip, slide him in, zip it to his height. You cook, you fold laundry, you answer the door — and he never has to leave you. Fits pups up to 44 lb, and yes, cats figure it out fast.
